BOTIX Meets with CCS Headquarters to Explore a New Ecosystem for Green and Intelligent Shipping
To implement the important guidance on the development of inland waterway shipping and the requirements set out in the Guidelines on Promoting the High-Quality Development of Inland Waterway Shipping, a five-member BOTIX delegation led by Senior Vice President Yu Yang visited the headquarters of China Classification Society (CCS) for discussions on September 5.
Zhang Qingwen, Vice President of CCS, led the CCS delegation and chaired the meeting. Representatives from the CCS Domestic Ship Department, Science, Technology and Information Department, and Container Center also attended.
As an active pioneer in green and intelligent inland shipping, BOTIX has built extensive practical experience in intelligent vessel systems, digital solutions for inland shipping, and green marine energy. Its work is closely aligned with CCS’s continued efforts to advance green, low-carbon, and intelligent navigation technologies for inland vessels.
During the meeting, BOTIX presented its integrated solutions for vessel propulsion, energy, and intelligent systems, together with updates on its recent industry projects. The two sides then held in-depth discussions on the development of green and intelligent vessels and potential areas for future cooperation.
Zhang Qingwen expressed strong recognition of BOTIX’s technological innovation and practical achievements in new energy and intelligent vessels. He also called for closer communication between the two sides and further exploration of potential cooperation models and implementation pathways. Through stronger industry collaboration, both parties aim to support the shipping industry’s transition toward higher-quality and more sustainable development.
Moving forward, BOTIX will continue to advance green and intelligent vessel technologies with professional guidance from CCS. By further applying core technologies such as AI-powered shipping solutions, the company will accelerate the industry deployment of its purpose-designed, independently developed technologies and contribute its expertise to the shipping industry’s green, digital, and intelligent transformation.
