More Reliable Detection. Clearer Imaging. At Close Range.

Shipborne 4D Imaging Small-Target Radar

Built on newly developed maritime target detection technology, the radar is purpose-designed for close-range small-target detection and precision ship handling. It provides 360° coverage of surrounding waters with a maximum detection range of 4 km. Combining decimeter-level range resolution with high-resolution 4D point-cloud imaging, it delivers stable, all-weather detection and tracking of small fishing vessels, buoys, floating objects, and other small targets, even in high sea states and congested waters.

Powered by an integrated scene-adaptive algorithm, the 4D Imaging Small-Target Radar dynamically adapts to changes in detection range and sea state. It delivers stable detection and tracking of small fishing vessels, buoys, floating objects, and other targets at close range, even in high sea states.

Redefining Close-Range Small-Target Detection

In close-range detection scenarios, small targets such as boats and buoys produce weak radar returns that can be easily masked by sea clutter. In high sea states, stronger sea clutter makes detection even more challenging. When conventional radar suppresses the clutter, target returns may also be suppressed, increasing the risk of missed detections and unstable tracking.

High-Resolution 4D Imaging for Precision Ship Handling

Redefining Close-Range Small-Target Detection

The 4D Imaging Small-Target Radar combines high-resolution 4D imaging with multidimensional information, including range, azimuth, elevation, and velocity. It clearly presents the contours and spatial relationships of vessels, berths, and shorelines, providing reliable situational data for berthing, unberthing, port operations, and other precision ship-handling tasks.

Redefining Close-Range Small-Target Detection

Conventional marine radar is limited by its range and azimuth resolution. Returns from adjacent targets, vessels, and shorelines can merge, making it difficult to accurately determine target bearing, range, and contour boundaries. As a result, conventional marine radar may not meet the precision requirements of berthing, unberthing, and other close-range ship-handling operations.
