BOTIX Named Council Member of Grand Canal Green and Intelligent Shipping Alliance and Signs Key New Energy Project in Wuxi
To support China’s carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals and seize the opportunities created by the green and intelligent transformation of canal shipping, the Grand Canal Innovation Alliance for Green and Intelligent Shipping Industry was officially established on 18 December during the opening ceremony of the 16th Wuxi International Renewable Energy Exhibition.
BOTIX joined the Alliance as a council member and signed an agreement for a key new energy industry project in Wuxi with the Huishan District Government and China Energy Engineering Group Eastern Construction & Investment Co., Ltd. During a parallel forum, BOTIX was also invited to deliver a presentation titled Innovation-Driven Green and Intelligent Transformation of Inland Shipping.

The Alliance is a voluntary coalition of enterprises, public institutions, universities, and organizations committed to the green and intelligent shipping industry. It aims to advance technological innovation and industry collaboration while developing a canal transportation system that is safe, accessible, efficient, economical, and environmentally sustainable.
As one of the Alliance’s founding members, BOTIX will work with partners from industry and academia to advance waterborne transportation toward greater intelligence and autonomy.
During the Grand Canal Green and Intelligent Shipping Industry Innovation Alliance Development Conference held that afternoon, BOTIX Vice President Yu Yang delivered the presentation Innovation-Driven Green and Intelligent Transformation of Inland Shipping.
Yu noted that inland shipping provides a strong foundation for industrial innovation and significant market potential. BOTIX’s integrated solution for green and intelligent shipping brings together innovation in system architecture, equipment, application pathways, and ecosystem development.
By developing energy-efficient, cost-effective electric propulsion equipment and intelligent navigation assistance systems adapted to inland operating environments, BOTIX addresses core challenges in representative scenarios and supports commercially viable, replicable, and scalable business models.
Since its establishment, BOTIX has remained focused on technology development, continuous product and solution improvement, and close collaboration with industry partners.
Looking ahead, the company will continue to advance the green transformation and intelligent upgrading of inland shipping, develop a comprehensive smart inland shipping ecosystem, and help shape a new era of green and intelligent waterborne transportation.
